Get Involved in a Ground-Breaking Project

.
PC Andy White has set up a terrific scheme – at Springhead Allotment site – to bring the community together and keep the allotments safe.
.
Andy has worked with young people from Sydney Smith and Wolfreton Schools who have tended the allotment site, as part of their school curriculum.
.
Andy has gained donations of plants, tools and equipment from Bishop Burton College, local residents and businesses.
.
The produce is donated to local older residents.
.

Veg grown on the allotment is donated to a local home

We need your help to make sure the project succeeds. It is a great opportunity for local people to join in by tending and watering the allotment, and if you want to do more, by influencing and sharing your experiences with the young people.

.
All your help and advice is gratefully received!
.
Please get in touch and let us know what you would like to do.PC White will arrange for free CRB checks for anyone who would be interested in working with young people, but you do not need this if you would just like to help out with the gardening.
